POONCH, July 20: Tariq Ahmed Zargar, District Development Commissioner, Poonch , who also happens to be the Chairman of District Sports Council, Poonch visited Sports Stadium, here today.
He interacted with coaches and players of different games namely Volleyball, Hockey, Boxing, Football and Handball.
He also visited under construction Indoor Stadium and Boxing Ring.
Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the efforts of coaches in grooming talented and budding players of the district and advised the players to work hardboth in sports and studies.
He assured his full support and cooperation of any kind to promote sports culture in the district.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sham Lal Sharma, retired SAI Hockey coach, Prem Prakash Lutra, retired DYSSO, Ram Prakash, ground in-charge, Tanveer Dar, President Youth PDP Poonch, Bal Krishan, Ravinder Singh and Mahinder Bali, besides coaches of different games including Pawan Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Mustaq Ahmed, Sourab Sharma and Tarlochan Singh.
