SRINAGAR, Sept 5: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara Khalid Jahangir today ordered action against 62 Government employees, who were found unauthorized absent.
On the instructions of Khalid Jahangir, DDC Kupwara, a team headed by Assistant Commissioner (Rev) Kupwara conducted a surprise inspection of the various Government offices in Kupwara.
The offices inspected include CEO’s Office Kupwara, ACD’s Office Kupwara, BDO’s Office Kupwara, Municipal Committee Kupwara, REW’s Office Kupwara PHE Division Kupwara and Irrigation Division Kupwara.
During the inspection, 62 employees were found unauthorizedly absent from their offices.
Accordingly concerned District and Sectoral officers were directed by the DDC Kupwara to take action against the absentees for their un-authorized absence as per Civil Service and Conduct Rules and furnish action taken report within a week’s time.
