DDC holds public grievances redressal camp

DODA, Jan 11: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Bhawani Rakwal, today held a public grievances redressal camp at Trown, Block Bhalla, Sub-Division Bhaderwah.
During the camp, people putforth their demands regarding upgradation of Government High School to Higher Secondary School at Trown, upgradation of Middle School to High School at Banjoi and upgradation of Primary School to Middle School at Suranda.
They also demanded J&K Bank branch, blacktopping of remaining stretch of Bhalla to Trown road along with road connectivity from Trown and Suranda to Sarsi, upgradation of tourism infrastructure, PHC and ambulance in the area.
DDC passed on spot direction to the concerned officers for swift redressal of issues concerning shortage of power and water in the area. He also stressed upon the concerned to ensure better facilities to the people in rural areas so that they do not suffer for want of basic amenities.
He also assured to take up the issue of up gradation of High School at Trown with the concerned authorities so that classes can start from next session. He said that the issue of opening of bank branch will also be taken up with concerned quarters. He exhorted all sectoral officers to adhere to the deadlines for completion of CM’s commitments as well.
Among others present were CPO, CEO, CMO and officers from PWD, PHE, PDD, PMGSY, CHO, CAO, Hydraulic Circle and other officers besides Tehsildar and BDO.
