DODA, Nov 13: District Development Commissioner, Bhupinder Kumar toured Mandole area and held a public grievances redressal camp at village Dharoth.
Addressing the gathering, the DDC said that such camps will be organized more frequently for helping the populace of rural and far off pockets in getting their problems mitigated with in shortest possible time.
Various demands were put forth by the people of the area which included posting of adequate teaching and non teaching staff in schools, uninterrupted supply of power during winters, adequate stock of ration and other essentials.
They also demanded a primary health centre in Dharote, issuance of job cards and developmental works under MGNREGA.
The DDC directed the concerned officers for taking immediate steps for early redressal of grievances raised by the people.
Additional Superintendent of Police Doda Vinay Kumar, Chief Planning Officer Doda Yoginder Katoch, BDO Kashtigarh besides officers of various departments were present in the camp.
