DDC directs district officers to redress issues of people

KISHTWAR, July 11: District Development Commissi-oner (DDC) Angrez Singh Rana visited Chatroo tehsil and listened the grievance of the people.
DDC was accompanied by SSP Kishtwar Abrar Ahmed Chodhary, ACD, CPO, SDM and district officers of all departments.
The public of the area projected demands in respect of drinking water, power, road connectivity, medicare, civic facilities, dilapidated and damaged school buildings, pending liability of MGNERGA, land compensation, bad condition of roads, acute dearth of teachers in schools, lack of doctors in medical institutions and stagnation of work on various link roads.
DDC directed the district officers to do the needful in the various matters put forth by the public with in fixed time .
Responding to the demand of bus services during morning  and afternoon hours for the students of the area DDC directed ARTO to ensure the plying of bus services as desired by the public.
People demanded immediate repair of foot bridges and damaged khuls, to which DDC advised ACD to immediately take up these works under convergence and asked the XEn hydraulics to release the funds regarding the maintenance of khuls in favour of ACD Kishtwar. ACD was also directed to execute the Chatroo-Singpora bridal path under MGNREGA Scheme so that the people of the Singh Pura may not suffer anymore.
DDC directed SDM Chatroo and ensure 100 per cent implementation of detachment order issued by the Government. SDM Chatroo was also directed to ensure bio metric attendance in all Government offices.
Executive Engineer R&B was directed to ensure the removal of unwanted material on road side.
Speaking on the occasion DDC requested the public to ensure the execution of the toilets. He warned the public in case the toilets are not made, their job cards and ration cards shall be suspended till the completion of the toilets.
SSP Abrar Chowdhary impressed upon the people to remain alert in their area about the activities of anti-national elements and inform the police. He also warned the rumour mongers and fake news sellers of severe legal consequences if any objectionable act found on their part.
