REASI, Apr 28: Deputy Commissioner Reasi has placed Mohan Lal, Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer under suspension and attached him with the office of the Additional District Development Commissioner Reasi on basis of a preliminary inquiry conducted by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Dharmari on alleged misappropriation and possible misuse of Government funds during the period from 20th December 2017 to 22nd of February 2018.
The order issued in this regard reads that the official placed under suspension shall immediately handover all the records to the Chief Agriculture Officer who shall make the records available for the purpose of the enquiries as and when required.
ADDC assisted by Chief Agriculture Officer and SDM Dharmari has been asked to conduct further departmental inquiry into the matter and submit the outcomes at the earliest.
Meanwhile, the Chief Agriculture Officer has been asked to make internal arrangement for the functioning of his subordinate office in that time and also provide the relevant information to the enquiry officer as and when required.
