JAMMU, Mar 25: In a PIL seeking ban on PUBG game, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice Sindhu Sharma today directed respondents to file response within two weeks.
In the letter written by a student, which has been treated as PIL, it has been submitted that youngsters don’t realize the ill effects of playing game for hours together at a stretch. “Because of addiction to mobile they are finding less time even for outdoor games. Earlier there had been certain games which the young generation was addicted to play, which resulted in even casualties”, said the letter.
It has further been submitted that Supreme Court had to intervene to press upon the Govt of India to block availability of certain contents on web which was not good for the society especially for children.
