JAMMU, Nov 7: In Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking constitution of State Bar Council under Advocates Act, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed and Justice Sanjeev Kumar today asked Registrar General to send reminders to the concerned persons and submit a report before the next date of hearing.
Earlier, Division Bench observed, “we have seen the report of the Registrar General dated 12.10.2017. It appears that the response from the Bar Council of India is awaited. The publication of the Rules in the Gazette of Government of India is also awaited.”
