JAMMU, Nov 20: In a petition filed by Joginder Singh, Bench Secretary of the High Court regarding dearth of staff at various levels in High Court and District Courts, pay anomaly in respect of officers and staff and promotional avenues to Law Graduate Readers of the High Court, Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and First Puisne Judge Justice Rajesh Bindal today expressed concern over dilly-dallying approach of the State towards the issue of emoluments permissible to the High Court staff.
The Division Bench directed that a decision regarding the emoluments permissible to the High Court staff shall be taken positively within ten days from today and same shall be placed before the court on the next date.
“In case a decision is not taken, Principal Secretary, Finance Department as well as the Secretary, Law Department shall remain present in the court”, the DB made it clear.
