Cycling Asso organizes State level Cycle Race

SAMBA, Mar 6: Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association organized State Level Cycling Championship at Vijaypur here today.
The Cycling Race was flagged off by Ravinder Singh, President J&K Cycling Association in presence of SS Gill, General Secretary of the Association, besides Rajan Sharma and Neel Kamal.
The Championship was organized by the J&K Cycling Association and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council and Muskan Foundation, under the aegis of Cycling Federation of India.
The cycling race started from Swankha Morh road to Raika Kmala and covered 10 Kms distance and again reached at Swankha Road.
About fifty players of different age groups from different schools and districts participated in the race.
The Championship was held under the age groups of 14, 17, 19 and Elite group.
The Championship was held under the technical supervision of Om Parkash, Goutam, Mushtaq Ahmed, Ajay Kumar and Vikesh Kumar.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Parveen Sangral, Dipesh Badgal, Parveen Kumari and Vinod Kumar Bhatia.
