JAMMU, July 17: Chenab Valley Power Projects (CVPP) Private Limited, Jammu organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Blood Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu and Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region.
The camp was inaugurated by DK Razdan, general manager, CVPP wherein 20 officers/staff members of CVPP donated blood voluntarily. While speaking on the occasion, DK Razdan, general manager said that in future they will arrange more blood donation camp to save the precious human lives.
On the occasion, Dr Ranbushan Singh, Senior Anaesthetist Consultant from Red Cross and Dinesh Gupta, Honorary Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu also addressed the donors and clarified their doubts about blood donation, besides briefing them about importance of blood donation, its periodicity and effects/benefits on the health of the donor.
MK Paulose, chief (HR) also donated the blood and on behalf of the CVPP assured their cooperation in all welfare activities in future also.
