CTET postponed in Srinagar

NEW DELHI, Sept 16:
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) scheduled on September 21 across the country, has been postponed in Srinagar in view of the floods in Jammu and Kashmir.
“In view of the current situation due to floods in J&K, CBSE has decided to postpone the CTET-September 2014 Examination that was scheduled to be held in the Srinagar centre,” a statement today said.
The next date of examination, for the Srinagar centre will be announced shortly and public notice will be issued for the information of the candidates.
The candidates who were allotted the city centre Srinagar have been advised by CBSE to also visit CTET website www.ctet.nic.in for updates. (PTI)
