Crude palm oil futures remain weak on sluggish demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 17:  Crude palm oil remained weak for the second day and prices fell further by 0.60 per cent to Rs 567.60 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators offloaded positions on the back of sluggish demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in June declined by Rs 3.40, or 0.60 per cent, to Rs 567.60 per 10 kg in business turnover of 63 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in April shed Rs 3.30, or 0.58 per cent, to Rs 570.10 per 10 kg in 85 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in crude palm oil futures to offloading of positions by speculators on sluggish demand against adequate stocks position. (PTI)
