Crude oil futures fall 0.15% on mixed global cues

NEW DELHI, Sept 1:  Crude oil futures declined 0.15 per cent to Rs 5,822 per barrel today in line with a mixed trend in Asian trade.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in September shed Rs 9, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 5,822 per barrel, with a business volume of 645 lots.
Oil prices for October delivery moved down by Rs 7, or 0.12 per cent, to trade at Rs 5,804 per barrel, with a business volume of 56 lots.
Marketmen said the fall in crude oil futures was mostly in tandem with a mixed trend in Asian trade ahead of a public holiday in the US and as dealers digest downcast Chinese manufacturing data.
Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate crude oil for delivery in October eased by 18 cents to USD 95.78 while Brent for October rose 7 cents to USD 103.26 a barrel in mid-morning trade on the New York Mercantile Exchange. (PTI)
