JAMMU, July 10: Under training CRPF Assistant Commandants visited PCR Jammu and were apprised regarding the role, functioning and working of Police Control Room (PCR).
The trainee officers visited different wings including OPS, CCTV and Dial 100 of the PCR Jammu and interacted with the officers and officials working in different branches.
The trainee officers were briefed by Kulbir Singh, SSP PCR Jammu regarding the functioning of the PCR and its importance especially in the State like J&K which is disturbed and situation like law order and militancy related issues arise. The young officers who are the future leaders of the force need to understand the ground realities and perform their duty in close coordination with officers of different forces including State Police, PMFs, Army, etc.
SSP PCR Jammu also shared the first hand ground experience with the officers in addition to the requirement and demand of coming days. The trainee officers also interacted freely and were wished a happy and successful career ahead.
