KATHUA, Mar 14: 126 Battalion won the CRPF sector level Inter Battalion Basketball tournament, while 166 Bn bagged the title trophy of the Volleyball tournament as the Inter Sector level CRPF Tournament concluded at District Police Lines,here today.
The Basketball final match was played between 126 Bn and 06 Bn. 126 Bn defeated 06 Bn by 72-54 points.
Meanwhile, in the Volleyball final, 166 Bn defeated 52 Bn by 3-1 sets.
The winners and runners-up teams were decorated with medal and winning trophies by the chief guest on the occasion, Commandant CRPF 121 Bn SS Rana.
Second-in-Command Tashi Gayalik and Deputy Commandant Pawan Kumar were also present on the occasion.
70 players of fifteen teams drawn from CRPF Battalions of Jammu zone including Reasi, Udhampur, Kathua , Rajouri, Samba and Kishtwar participated in the tournament.
