JAMMU, Sept 26: 38 and 166 Battalions of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and PHE Department organized various programmes to commemorate ongoing nationwide sanitation campaign “Swachhta Hi Sewa”.
166 Battalion of CRPF organized a programme at High Court complex Jammu and cleaned the High Court premises.
On the occasion, VS Bhau, Registrar Judicial, J&K High Court Jammu administered oath of cleanliness to all the participants. Among others present were BS Slathia, President, J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu, Nitu, DIGP CRPF Jammu Range, VC Knal, Principal District Judge Jammu, SS Nanda, Senior Additional Advocate General, J&K, Sindhu Sharma, Assistant Solicitor General of India, Ashish Kumar Jha, Commandant 166 Battalion CRPF, members of force and senior members of J&K Bar Association and High court staff.
Meanwhile, the personnel of 38 Battalion CRPF stationed at Smailpur, District Samba carried out cleanliness drive at JKSRTC bus stand near Gumat Market, here.
On the occasion, Nitu, DIGP Jammu Range, CRPF was the chief guest, while Ram Kumar, Commandant, 38 Battalion CRPF, Bharat Bhushan Jakhmola, 2 IC Jammu Range, Karuna Nautiyal Rana, 2 IC 38 Battalion, Sweta Rana, DC 38 Battalion, Kuldeep Raj, Naib Tehsildar, JDA Zone, Monish Arora, Manager SRTC, SHO SRTC, other officers and jawans of 38 Battalion CRPF, staff of JKSRTC, local people and shopkeepers were also present.
Later, a rally was taken out by 38 Battalion CRPF at JKSRTC bus stand premises.
Earlier, 38 Battalion CRPF had also carried out a massive cleanliness drive from September 16 onwards at different parts of the Jammu city.
