CRPF camp damaged in fire

SRINAGAR, Feb 9: A paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp was damaged in a fire incident at Batakote village of South Kashmir’s Pahalgam area of Anantnag district today.
Reports said fire broke out inside the camp of 116 Battalion CRPF at Batakote in Pahalgam this evening and gutted windows, furniture and some bedding of jawans. “The fire was immediately brought under control by jawans and fire tenders,” the reports said.
However, there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the fire incident. “The cause of the fire is being ascertained,” the reports added.
