Crossed Swords Division celebrates 53rd Raising Day

JAMMU,  Apr 2: Crossed Swords Division of the Indian Army celebrated their 53rd Raising Day today.
In a solemn ceremony held at Akhnoor  to commemorate this momentous occasion and to pay homage to the gallant martyrs of the Division, wreaths were laid at the war memorial by General Officer Commanding, Crossed Swords Division along with the Station Commander, Subedar Major and a young soldier.
The Division organised a number of events to reminisce its glorious history and traditions. General Officer Commanding of the Division in his message to the troops exhorted all ranks to rededicate themselves to the service of the Nation.
