Criminologists Society chalks out programme for 2018

JAMMU, Jan 9: A meeting of office bearers of Criminologists Society was held in court premises today to discuss and frame calendar for the programmes of the year 2018.
The members resolved to intensify their activities in view of the strong support of intelligentsia, which had assembled in the recently held criminology conference, wherein Justice A.K.Goel, judge Supreme Court was the chief guest and Justice M.Y.Mir presided over. The members appreciated the role of Bar Association which accepted their proposal for jointly organizing such conference and extended their full support in the cause of the Criminologists Society.
The members also complimented the lawyer community, the Secretary Social Welfare Department, intelligentsia and the paper presenters ,especially former Advocate General U.K.Jalali and Additional Advocate General, Rohit Kapoor and others who provided strong intellectual inputs on different topics and helped in making the programme a success and the gesture of supreme Court and High Court judges in participating in the conference despite their busy schedule.
The meeting was attended by the president of Society, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, its advisor  Balbir Singh, vice presidents Suresh Sharma and Manisha Kohli, general secretaries Ranjit Singh and Rakeshwar Durswal, press secretaries, Ashwani Kumar, cashier Sandeep Singh, chief organizer, Pawan Dev Singh, Amarveer Manhas, Hema Chowdhary, Shallu Misra, Gourav Goutam, and many other members.
