JAMMU, Dec 1: Police on Friday arrested a criminal with one country-made pistol here in city outskirts.
“Acting upon specific information, a special naka was established this afternoon at village Mokhey and one Akash Sharma, son of Arun Sharma of Mokhey was apprehended”, a police official said.
On his personal search, one country-made pistol was recovered from his possession.
A case under FIR Number 276/17 under Section 3/25 of Arms Act was registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigations started.
The arrest and recovery was made by SHO RS Pura Inspector Bishnesh Kumar under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura SurinderChoudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
