JAMMU, Sept 1: The mega cricket event in which over 60 teams drawn from Marh Constituency are taking part, will begin at Phalain Mandal cricket ground, here from tomorrow.
According to the organizers, the tournament will be inaugurated by Minister for Planning, Labour and Employment, Ajay Sadhotra in a colourful function.
The organizers will be providing full cricket kits to all the participating teams on the occasion.
The winners of the tournament will be receiving a cash award of Rs 1.5 lakhs apart from a glittering trophy and individual prizes, while the runners-up will get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a trophy from the organizers.
“The colour uniforms will be distributed among all the teams to make the event colourful and fascinating,” said president of the organizing committee, Ankush Abrol, Member JKCA Working Committee.
He added that elaborate arrangements have been made and various committees framed for the smooth and successful conduct of the tournament.
