JAMMU, Feb 19: Crescent Public School, Janipur celebrated Annual Day with zeal and zest in its school premises, here today.
Avny Lavasa, Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion, while prominent guests present on the occasion were Arshad Chowdhary Chairman; Tasneem Kouser Managing Director; Vice Chairman Imran Choudhary; Director Ambreen Choudhary, Academic Director Mobeen Choudhary and Principal Bhavna Kaushal.
All the invited guests were felicitated with garlands by the Managing Director and Principal.
The function started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the distinguished guests, which was followed by a melodious rendition of school song by the school choir.
Bhavna Kaushal welcomed the esteemed guests and read an exhaustive report elucidating threadbare the events held during the year.
A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students which included school song Saraswati Vandana, skit, Dance Performance and National Anthem.
Chief Guest and Management felicitated the students in various categories like Academics, sports, co-curricular and House activities.
The Chief Guests emphasised on providing quality education to the students and urged upon the teaching faulty to play vital role in enlightening the society.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Academic Director Mobeen Choudhary.
In the end the National Anthem was sung by all present on the occasion.
