LOS ANGELES, Feb 2: Actress Courtney Love is set to essay the role of mother in Menendez Brothers’ TV movie.

Casting is underway for the brothers, Lyle and Erik, and the father, Jose Menendez.
Based on the true story, the film explores the inner lives and motivation behind the murders of entertainment executive Jose Menendez and his wife Kitty at the hands of their sons Lyle and Erik in 1989.
During their trial, the brothers testified that the murders were driven by a lifetime of sexual abuse by their father. They were ultimately sentenced to life without parole, and both remain in separate prisons today. (PTI)
