Court denies bail to fraudster

Jammu, Jan 31: Sub Registrar Jammu Khem Raj Sharma has rejected the bail application of one Rakesh Choudhary S/o Waryam Chand Choudhary who is involved in a fraud case for allegedly sale of land which he has not possessed.
According to the police case one complainant namely Saif-ud-din Shangloo Srinagar had reported to police through a written application forwarded by the CJM Jammu to the effect that the plot of land measuring 60 X90 has been allotted to complainant by JDA Jammu in 1989 and one Rakesh Kumar had executed an agreement to sell by virtue of which said Naresh Kumar claims himself to be owner of the plot and both the Naresh and Rakesh forged the signature of the complainant and filed the suit in the Court in order to grab the said land. On this police registered a case u/s 420/467/478/471/120-B RPC.
Sub Registrar Jammu Khem Raj Sharma after hearing PO Yogesh Nagpal appearing for the State observed that the accused is involved in very heinous crime and it cannot be ruled out that custodial investigation of the accused person is very much required for its logical conclusion. With these observations Court rejected the bail application.
