Country CC drubs Game Challenger by 16 runs

JAMMU, July 5: Country Cricket Club got the better of Game Changer XI by 16 runs in the ongoing Under-16 40-Over Summer Cup League Cricket Tournament at Gharota, near here.
Country cricket Club won their second consecutive match after defending a meagre total of 118 runs by opting to bat first after winning the toss. None of the batsmen could cross the double figure mark. Nityam was the wrecker-in-chief, who claimed 5 wickets in 7 overs by conceding 28 runs. Abhay Tandon got 2 wickets, while Praful, Sachin and Kartik claimed one wicket each.
Game Changer XI in reply managed to score 102 runs. Aryasuvansh top scored with 30 runs, Abhinav contributed 10 runs to the total. Samarpit and Aprajit contributed 7 runs each, while Praful chipped in with 6 runs. Ashim Nanda and Snoop Bhagat took 4 wickets each for Country Cricket Club.
The match was attended by Rajesh Gill as a guest observer.
