BIHAR: Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh today said ‘corrupt people’ have gathered at one platform to corner the Narendra Modi Government.
Singh’s comment came days after opposition parties emerged victorious in 11 out of 14 Lok Sabha and Assembly bypolls with the BJP losing Kairana Lok Sabha seat in the politically important Uttar Pradesh to a united opposition.
“There is an uneasiness among corrupt people who have gathered at one platform to corner the Central Government but the people know the reality,” he said referring to opposition parties getting united to oppose the BJP.
Addressing a function organised by BJP’s intellectual cell here, the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister said the Government has taken tough stand against corruption and this is evident from the fact that four former chief ministers are behind bars. (AGENCIES)
