Copper recovers on scattered demand

NEW DELHI, Mar 11: Copper prices recovered by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today on mild demand from consuming industries.
However, other base metals held steady in thin trade.
Traders said scattered demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market mainly helped copper prices to recover.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap edged up by Rs 2 to Rs 355 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 102-108, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 800-805, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 355, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 90, lead imported Rs 96, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148. (PTI)
