Copper futures weaken 0.26 pc on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Dec 13:  Copper prices were trading marginally lower by 0.26 per cent in futures trade today as participants cut down their holdings amid sluggish demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in February declined by Rs 1.15, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 433.35 per kg in a business turnover of 160 lots.
The fall in copper prices at the futures market was mostly attributed to tepid demand from consuming industries at domestic spot markets, according to marketmen. (PTI)
