Copper edges up on scattered demand

NEW DELHI, Aug 5:  Copper prices inched up by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market in the national capital today due to mild demand from consuming industries.
Traders said some demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market, mainly helped copper prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap traded higher by Rs 2 to Rs 358 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 104-110, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 785-795, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 358, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 100, lead imported Rs 106, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148. (PTI)
