Copper edges up on mild demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 21: Copper prices inched up by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to scattered demand from consuming industries.
Traders attributed the rise in copper prices to some demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap traded higher by Rs 2 to Rs 427 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 126-132, nickel plate (4×4) Rs 840-845, gun metal scrap Rs 227, bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 427, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 125, lead imported Rs 132, aluminium ingots Rs 164, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 160, aluminium wire scrap Rs 160 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 158. (PTI)
