SRINAGAR: A police guard of a police officer last night decamped with 4 AK-47 rifles from the residence of the officer in South Kashmir’s Bijbheara town and joined militancy.
Shakoor Ahmad who was guard at the residence of SDPO Bijbehara ran away with 4 AK-47 rifles.
This is the second cop who has joined militancy recently. Earlier in March last year security guard of then R&B Minister ran away with two AK-47 rifles from the residence of Minister. He, Naeer Pandith, later joined Hizbul Mujahideen.
