Coordination Committee Devika rejuvenation project conducts field visit

UDHAMPUR, Oct 23: The Coordination Committee Devika rejuvenation project headed by DDC Ravinder Kumar today conducted field visit to the river site to take stock of ground situation and devise strategy for achieving best results by convergence of schemes of various departments.
The Coordination Commi-ttee assessed the ground situation, bottlenecks and hurdles involved and initiated the required steps for the early implementation of the project.
Later, the Committee also visited Gangera hills to see the catchment area and source of the holy river. The teams assessed the treatment required for the conservation of the natural resources and to beautify the area to attract maximum tourists.
The Committee recommended for following best conservation practices to make it an exemplary water development project.
The DC asked the concerned departments to coordinate their efforts and extend full cooperation to the executing agency.
Additional Development Commissioner, Gurvinderjeet Singh, CPO, Rajeev Bhushan ACR, Sonu Pargal , Xen UEED, DFO besides other district officers of different departments were part of the visit.
