Construct flyovers to ease out traffic problems: Dimple

JAMMU, Nov 10: A large number of people, traders, employees and prominent citizens under the leadership of Sunil Dimple president Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) held protest march against the worst traffic problems, and demanded construction of flyovers to ease out the problem.
Addressing the protestors, Dimple criticized the Government for traffic Jams on roads in Jammu city, especially Janipur High court Road and Canal Akhnoor road and said that Government was watching all this as a mute spectator.
The party activists raised slogans against the PWD R&B, ERA, JMC etc for  swindling of funds meant for the construction of flyovers and widening of the BC Road at Rehari Chungi and Jewel Chowk.
He requested the State Chief Justice to intervene and help the people of the Jammu city.
On the occasion, Dimple appealed the State Government to come out with concrete work map on worst traffic problem by November 16.
He urged upon the CM, the Deputy CM and all the concerned quarters to start the construction of flyovers at Rehari Chungi and Jewal Chowk and solve the traffic problem of the Jammu city.
Dimple demanded for starting Metro Rail, Mono Rail and construction of Circular Roads to solve the traffic problem faced by the people of Jammu City.
He also reiterated for construction of alternative four way circular road from Amphalla  Manda to High Court  Janipur to  Roop Nagar- Bantalab and from Jewel Chowk to Talab Tillo via Bhagwati Nagar- Canal road to ease the traffic problem  on the  Amphalla, New Plot, Janipur, Bantalab Road and also demanded for widening of the Jewel- Canal to Purkhu Akhnoor road.
