Consider promotion of Dr Vijayant as Asst Prof Medicine: HC

JAMMU, Dec 28: High Court has directed the Medical Education Department to consider Dr Vijayant Singh Chandail for the post of Incharge Assistant Professor (Medicine) in the Government Medical College Jammu.
After hearing Senior Advocate MK Bhardwaj for the petitioner whereas Deputy AG Sanjeev Pandha for the State, Justice Alok Aradhe directed respondents to convene a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee and consider the case of the petitioner for the post of Incharge Assistant Professor (Medicine).
When the matter was taken up, counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is eligible for consideration for promotion to the post of Incharge Assistant Professor (Medicine).
