Congress delegation visits Pulwama martyr’s residence

RAJOURI, Feb 19: A delegation of senior Congress leaders and functionaries of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) visited residence of martyred CRPF personnel Naseer Ahmad at Dodasanbala in Rajouri and conveyed deepest condolences to his family on behalf of rank and file of the party.
The delegation comprising Madan Lal Sharma, Ravinder Sharma, Shabir Ahmad Khan, Kuldeep Raj Verma and others expressed deep shock over the recent fidyaeen attack on CRPF convoy at Pulwama in which 50 precious lives of CRPF jawans were lost including martyr Naseer and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family of Martyr Naseer Ahmad.
The leaders observed two minute silence as a mark of respect to the Martyrs. They said the Nation will not forget the supreme sacrifices of Jawans who are fighting militants to defend the Nation and save the lives of citizens.
On the occasion, a large number of people who had gathered there apprised the leaders that last year also a CRPF jawan Tufail Ahmad besides large number of civilians of the same village has become victims of militants.
They demanded that Government should create some facilities in the village which should be named in the memory of martyrs.
Others present were Sian Abdul Rashid, Shakeel Ahmad Mir, Lovely Gupta, Sushil Sharma, Pushpinder Gupta, Subash Sharma, Isher Singh, Lalit Mahajan, Devinder Singh, Khursheed Janam, Joginder Singh, Prabodh Jasiyal and Bitu Shah.
