Cong wants to delay Ram Temple: Sakshi Maharaj

ETAH, Dec 11: Alleging that Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi was changing his colour like a chameleon, controversial BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj on Monday charged “this party” wanted to delay the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
“It is the Congress, which is trying to force delay in the Supreme Court verdict in the Ayodhya dispute. If we talk about the inner conscious of  Congress leader and Ayodhya lawyer Kapil Sibal, he too wants early Ram Temple at Ayodhya, but trying to delay it on the directives of the party,” he said.
Addressing a press conference here, the BJP MP from Unnao said, “A person who earlier said that Lord Ram was an mythological figure but now was going to every temple in Gujarat and even posting photos of wearing religious thread, shows how a person changes.
“We welcome Rahul for becoming a Ram Bhakt like Narendra Modi, but he should talk about the early construction of Ram Temple, rather than trying to delay it through its leaders.
“But, I can assure the countrymen that Ram temple will be constructed very soon at any cost,” the BJP MP added. He said BJP will get a landslide victory in Gujarat with the support of Patels.
“The BJP will win around 150 seats in the Gujarat elections,” he claimed. (UNI)
