Addressing a press conference here today, the CLP leader said that State Government is bound to hold  two Assembly sessions every year. The previous session at Srinagar for GST was just a fraud on the Constitution where no other Government work was undertaken. Even Government failed to hold proper debate on the GST in the Legislature. He said this Government has failed on all the fronts and is avoiding to face the opposition.
Referring to the discriminatory policies of this Government, Jora said PDP-BJP have crossed all the limits on this count.  Its Ministers have eroded the sanctity of the oath taken during ceremony. They have gone too, much bias. Whether it is recruitment  through PSC, SSRB or Police, the lion’s share has gone to Kashmir during past three years while the educated youth from Jammu and Ladakh have been left to suffer. The lists published during the past some time has totally exposed this Government and raised question mark on the credibility and claims of the BJP leadership.
There is no development in Jammu region, in tourism sector or other fields. Many projects started during Cong-NC regime have been stalled and in Power field, no new projects have under taken by this Government in last three years. This Government is existing only on news papers. Actually on ground, the Government  is miserably missing. The people are suffering due to non-availability of basic amenities. Whether it is water supply, power, ration or kerosene oil supply in far flung areas, the people have been left to suffer. There is strong resentment among the people and especially the youth.
Commenting on terrorists attack in Pulwama area of Kashmir on Sunday in which five CRPF men were martyred, Jora said internal security situation has worsened. The militants activities are on the rise. The people are facing internal security threat. The Government has failed to ensure peace in the Kashmir and other parts.
While projecting various shortcomings  of this Government, Jora said that Congress legislators would strongly expose this Government in the Upper and Lower Houses  of the State Legislature during this Assembly session starting on Tuesday.
Jora was accompanied by senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Monga (MLC) and Vikram Malhotra, PCC general secretary.
