Cong submits memo to DCs at Jammu, Rajouri

Jammu, Jan 9:   District Congress Committee Jammu,  today  submitted a memorandum to the  District Development Commissioner Jammu,  over the issue of demonetization resulting into sufferings and hardships to the common citizens and  seeking answers to the questions raised by the All India Congress Committee Vice President Rahul Gandhi to  the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A large number of Congress leaders and workers of DCC Jammu led by District president Anil Chopra and  also observers from Central High Command Subash Manglote MOS, H.P. Govt and Manmohan Singh Katoch, general secretary of PCC Himahal Pradesh, marched to the  DDC Office Jammu and  submitted a memorandum highlighting the  hardships  faced by the common people  due to sudden demonetization.
Similarly, in another protest over these issues,  organized by  District Congress Committee, Rajouri which was led by PCC leaders  Ravinder Sharma, Shabir Ahmed Khan, Iqbal Malik, DCC president Sain Abdul Rashid and a large number of party workers from district Rajouri marched to DCC office Rajouri and submitted memorandum.
Another function was held at Ramban  which was organized by District Congress Committee Ramban led by Arun Singh Raju and Secy. Ashok Dogra Ex-MLA and submitted the memorandum to DDC Ramban.
These series of  protests are part of the nationwide programme of  the All India Congress Committee over the demonetization.
