Cong, PDP condemn killing of two cops

JAMMU, June 12: Expressing grave concern over the unabated incidents of militant attacks in Kashmir on forces during the ongoing ceasefire in view of holy month of Ramadan, JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma expressed shock over the martyrdom of two policemen in the attack today in which around 10 others are reportedly injured.
He strongly condemned the attacks which shows that the militants have no respect for any religion and are trying to take advantage of the situation to carry on their nefarious activities, which is matter of great concern.
PCC has conveyed deep sympathies with the families of those martyred and paid homage to the martyrs and prayed for early recovery of those injured.
Senior PDP leader Mohd Dilawar Mir and MLA Rafiabad, Yawar Dilawar Mir have expressed grief and sorrow over the killing of two police personnel who were on duty at a Court in Pulwama. One of the slain police man namely Ghulam Hassan Wagay belonged to Wulhuta village of Rafiabad constituency.
They have expressed their heartfelt condolence with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. They have prayed for early recovery of the injured police personnel in the shoot-out, who also belong to Rafiabad.
They have strongly condemned the militant attack on innocent police constable that too during the sacred night of Shab -i- Qadar.
