RAMBAN, Nov 7: A conductor was injured, when the truck he was travelling in, skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Khooni Nallah on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, today morning.
As per police sources, a truck bearing registration number JK02AC-3052 rolled down into gorge near Khooni Nallah, resulting into injuries to the conductor. In the accident, a leopard hiding in the bushes also got killed as vehicle fell on it.
The injured conductor identified as Mustafa Iqbal, son of Salam Din, a resident of district Rajouri was shifted to district Hospital Ramban, where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
A case in this regard has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
