JAMMU, Jan 29: Jasrotia Welfare Society has expressed concern over frequent burning of transformers in various localities.
In a statement issued here, today R S Jasrotia said that two transformers have been damaged in Roop Nagar, two in Buta Nagar and two in Preet Nagar. He said the transformer in Buta Nagar has been damaged due to over loading as it has to feed I.I.T, saw mills, welding stations, etc.
In an appeal to the PDD authorities he urged them to take immediate steps in restoring these transformers and ensure that in future they are not damaged.
