SAMBA, May 22: Combined Cricket Club Palli outplayed Maheen Cricket Club by 2 wickets in the ongoing Samba District JKCA Premier Cricket Champi-onship at Prem Nath Dogra Cricket Stadium Smailpur, here.
Batting first, Maheen Cricket Club bundled out for 91 runs in 17 overs. Sushil top scored with 24 runs, while Anku contributed 16 runs to the total. From Combined Club, Rohit was the wrecker-in-chief who took 4 wickets, while Akshit and Sukha took 2 wickets each. Govind also claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Combined Cricket Club Palli chased the target in 16 overs by losing 8 wickets, thus won the match by 2 wickets. Pawan and Anshik were the main scorers with 27 and 19 runs respectively.
From Maheen Club, Anku took 4 important wickets, while Sahil bagged 2 wickets. Joypal claimed 1 wicket.
Meanwhile at Rajouri DPL ground, Stadium Cricket XI defeated Darhal Cricket Club by a big margin of 95 runs.
Batting first, Stadium Cricket XI scored a mammoth total of 309 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 30 overs. S. Rehman was the top scorer with 68 runs, while Irfan Malik and Roksar contributed 46 and 41 runs respectively. From Darhal Cricket Club, Rizwan and Tafeeq took 2 wickets each, while Gohar and Habib shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, Darhal Cricket Club managed to score 214 runs, thus lost the match by 95 runs. Ateeq Malik (59), Nadeem Malik (37) and Gohar Mir (20) were the main contributors. From Stadium XI, Mehmood and Yasir took 2 wickets each while Tahir, Rizwan and iftiaz claimed 1 wicket each.
