DODA, May 4: Combine Cricket Club (CCC) Ghat and Rising Star Cricket Club (RSCC) Doda beat Kastigarh Cricket Club (KCC) and Shining Star Cricket Club (SSCC) respectively in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda.
Earlier, in the first match, KCC after winning the toss set a target of 44 runs for the loss of 09 wickets in 10 overs. Shahid and Adil Naik scored 17 and 07 runs respectively. From CCC Ghat, Imran Tantray and Saleem took 03 and 01 wickets.
In reply, CCC Ghat managed to chase down the target in 3.5 overs for the loss of 03 wickets. Imran was the highest scorer who scored 12 runs while Waseem contributed 08 runs for the team. From KCC, Asgar and Yasir took 02 and 01 wickets.
Imran Tantray of CCC Ghat was declared as man of the match for his best allround performance.
In the second match, toss was won by SSCC Doda and while batting they set an traget of 94 runs for the loss of 08 wickets in 10 overs. Shahbaz was the highest scored 42 runs while Jaffar contributed 13 runs for the team. From RSCC Doda, Shahid and Owais took 2 and 1 wickets.
In reply, batsman of RSCC Doda managed to achieve the target in 7.5 overs by losing 2 wickets. Mayur was the highest scorer who scored 45 runs, while Sajid Shah contributed 34 runs for his team. From SSCC, Shahbaz and Susheel shared 1 wicket each.
Mayur of RSCC Doda was declared as man of the match for his best batting performance.
The match was officiated by Aayush Sharma and Bharat Jajuriya as umpires, while Rinku Bhaduria acted as scorer.
