Colleague kills BSF HC

SRINAGAR, Nov 28: A Border Security Force (BSF) Head Constable (HC) was shot multiple times and killed allegedly by his colleague inside a camp in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district last night. Click here to watch video
A police officer said that Head Constable Chandherbhan, a resident of Haryana, was shot nine times allegedly by his colleague Constable Ravinder Singh, a resident of Dildar village of Kupwara district, last night at around 11:30 pm after they had a scuffle inside their camp at Mader Bandipora. Singh had targeted Chandherban’s vital organs like brain with bullets and he was found lying in a pool of blood, the police said.
The police officer said the accused constable has been taken into custody and a case under FIR number 163/2017 under Section 302 RPC has been registered. “We have launched further investigation into the matter. The post-mortem of the deceased was also performed,” he said.
