Coldest night in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, Dec 2: Srinagar recorded the season’s coldest night temperature at minus 2.4 degrees Celsius with the weather office forecasting a further fall in temperatures across the State in coming days.
Srinagar witnessed the coldest night of the season as the minimum temperatures dropped due to clear night sky. The minimum temperatures recorded in Pahalgam and Gulmarg were minus 5.1 degrees Celsius and minus 3.1 degrees Celsius, respectively.
At minus 9.3 degrees Celsius, Leh town was coldest in the State followed by Kargil at minus 9.0 degrees Celsius.
As mainly clear weather is expected during the coming three to four days, there is a likelihood of further fall in the temperatures.
