KATHUA, May 2: Reiterating that coalition Government is determined to provide all basic amenities to the people across the State, BJP MLA from Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia today said that numerous developmental and welfare schemes have been launched in every nook and corner of the State to improve the living standard of the people.
This was stated by MLA while interacting with the people after inaugurating various development works at Bijjit, Rakhey, Malooh, Khanyara, Jamalpur, Pralla including Tractor Roads, Shamshan Ghat at the cost of Rs 30 lacs along with Sarpanch Sansar Singh, Chanda Singh, Sanjeev Vaid and all villagers of respective areas.
MLA said that the Government has formulated a new massive development plan for development of every locality of the State. He said providing road connectivity to all villages is on high agenda of the Government, adding all unconnected areas would be connected with nearest district and tehsil headquarters through road network.
MLA further said that Government was committed to provide all improved basic facilities like road connectivity, drinking water, regular power supply, medicare and sanitation to the people of Kathua Constituency. He added that there was no constraint of funds to meet the development related issue of constituency.
MLA said with the starting of this works, the long pending demand of the people has been redressed, adding that necessary instructions have been given to the concerned engineers to complete the works within stipulated time frame. He asked the people to personally monitor the quality of ongoing development works in their respective areas to ensure quality. Jasrotia called upon the people to cooperate with executing agencies in completing the development works well in time. He asked the locals to use electricity judiciously.
