JAMMU, Dec 17: In order to carry on the series of developmental works in Vijaypur constituency of district Samba, Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga today kick started several developmental works at village Smailpur in Bari-Brahmana of district Samba.
On the occasion, Minister said that during last three years many developmental works were taken up in the area by coalition and out of them some were completed and some are under construction i.e. roads, lanes, drains, community facility centre, etc. at the estimated cost of Rs 70 lakh under PWD and RDD.
On the occasion, Chander Parkash Ganga also listened the problems and issues projected by the villagers in which drinking water, completion of some other pending lanes/drains, old-age-handicapped-widow pensions, regular supply of Government ration, 24×7 hrs power supply, etc. After listening patiently, Ganga assured them to fulfill their demands with in time frame.
Addressing to the gathering of villagers, Ganga appealed to them to took more and more benefits from Central and State sponsored schemes. He also stressed to unemployed educated youth to divert their mind from Government jobs towards private sector and becomes a job giver instead of job seeker by taking loan facilities under different types of employment generation schemes.
