JAMMU, Feb 1: Creative Minds Olympiad Foundation (CMOF) has launched their Academic Olympiad Calendar for the session 2019-20.
Kiran Raina, vice president of Private Schools’ Association, was the chief guest while Bharti Kaul, Deputy Director of Umang Theatre was the guest of honour. Syed Azam, Country Head of Creative Minds, Om Prakash and authorized partner for J&K state, Sunita Thusoo, Managing Director of 7 Seas International Education, Jammu were also present.
While speaking on the occasion, Syed Azam said the main intention of launching this program is to tie-up with the all private schools in order to conduct the Olympiad examination for the subjects like science/maths/ english/GK/computers/hindi to sharpen the subject skills and uplift the merit of the students.
He also said very soon the organization is planning to tie-up with Government schools in Jammu and also Kashmir divisions to conduct this exam in regional languages like Urdu/Hindi without fees and to identify the excellent minds.
While extending her support to the initiative, Kiran Raina said the vision of the CMOF for encouraging the students with scholarships and nourishing their skills is worth appreciation. She said this initiative was much needed in J&K schools, so that schools from the State can excelled at national level.
On the occasion, Sunita Thusoo shared her thoughts and said that she is keen to bring these kinds of opportunities for the students of Jammu & Kashmir. Adding further she said that the students should enhance these skills by taking part in these kinds of exams so that they could become all-round players in the field of education. But for achieving these goals, parents also need to take initiative and motivate their children to take part in these kinds of exams.
