CM, Azad condole Union Minister’s demise

SRINAGAR, May 18: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has condoled the demise of Union Environment Minister, Anil Madhav Dave who died this morning at New Delhi.
In a condolence message to the bereaved family, the Chief Minister said Dave would long be remembered for his activism in environmental protection and other social causes and issues.
Mehbooba Mufti has conveyed her sympathies with the family of Dave.
Ghulam Nabi Azad, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, has also expressed his heartfelt condolences at the sudden demise of Anil Madhav Dave, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Environment.
“Anil Madhav Dave was an able fellow Parliamentarian and a popular leader.  I remember him as a very soft spoken and honest person.  He was an accomplished writer both in Hindi and English language.” said Azad.
Azad also prayed to Almighty to give strength and courage to the near and dear ones of Dave in this moment of grief and also prayed that his departed soul may rest in peace.
